A Rapid Test For The Detection of COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
The COVID-19 IgG and IgM Rapid Serology Fingerstick Antibody Test Kit are used for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in whole blood, serum, or plasma. Serology testing allows the determination of active infection and whether someone has built up an immunity to the virus based on past exposure. The fingerstick is easy to administer and offers reliable results at 10 minutes that remain valid for 15 minutes.

What is PCR Testing?
PCR is a laboratory test to diagnose the COVID-19 infection based on viral DNA. The test involves a nasal swab that looks like a long Q-tip and draws mucus from the patient’s nasal cavity. The swab is then inserted into a vial and is shipped to a laboratory where lab techs or machines use reagents to extract the viral RNA. PCR test results available (rapid) 15 minutes and (non-rapid) 3-5 days.

Due to this back log, many of our patients who want the PCR test are choosing to do a raid antibody test so they can get an idea of their status while waiting for the PCR test results.
